Hi fundraising fans,
We’re back with our round-up. It’s been another couple of months of incredible fundraising results and we’re thrilled to be welcoming 6 new charities to the GivePenny family!
Now let’s get cracking with our regular dose of positivity…
The power of connected giving
Our amazing fundraising platform launched 178 NEW fundraising pages in July that are collecting donations for some incredibly worthy causes.
We have also seen more incredible results from connected giving, learning from one campaign that those who connected apps raise 203% more than those who don’t! Our app integrations with Spotify, Strava and Twitch are providing charities with some fundraising magic throughout the ongoing pandemic.
If you’d like to find out more about increasing your donations with #ConnectedGiving, get in touch with team GivePenny.
July’s campaign of the month: Tŷ Hafan’s Virtual Welsh Peaks Challenge
July saw the first ever virtual Welsh Peaks Challenge! During July, fundraisers were tasked with walking or running the distance of the three mountains that make up the Welsh Peaks, Snowdon, Cadir Idris and Pen Y Fan, a staggering 20.35 miles (or 32.7km)!
Others chose to take part in The Stair Climb Challenge, where fundraisers were required to climb the three mountains, the equivalent of 27,638 steps, by walking up and down the stairs.
Congratulations to all of those that took part in the challenge raising money for the incredible Tŷ Hafan, a paediatric palliative care charity that offers care to children and support for their families throughout Wales.
